Sulzer Dalian, China Sulzer (Dalian) Pumps & Compressors Ltd. is the Sulzer wholly owned entity in China. The company has complete pump manufacturing capabilities, from the first step, such as pattern making, through component making, assembly, performance testing, painting and final packaging.
Sulzer (Dalian) has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 certifications by LLOYDS, as well as pumps design and manufacture certifications for Class II and Class III nuclear applications. Sulzer (Dalian) has a long history of providing innovative pumping solutions to business partners in the following industries: Oil and Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Power Generation, General Industry and Water and Wastewater.
Sulzer Pumps Suzhou Ltd.
In 2010, Sulzer invested around CHF30 million in the expansion of its global manufacturing network with a new factory in Suzhou, China. As part of this investment, Sulzer is bringing its most advanced engineered-pump technology to China. The new state-of-the-art factory for engineered pumps mainly focuses on meeting the growing demand in the oil and gas and the power generation markets segments in China and Asia-Pacific.
As part of the Sulzer global network, the employees in the new factory manufacture engineered pumps on 23 000 m2 of total floor space with state-of-the-art CNC machine tools. The new factory integrates best practices from other major Sulzer Pumps factories, ensuring operational excellence by combining Sulzer’s global standards for quality with reliable delivery times. The plant has extensive testing capabilities with two closed loop test beds, one test well for vertical pumps and a hot test area. Variable frequency drives (VFDs) are provided to allow motor soft starts and to run parallel tests in all four test areas with a total power supply of 15 MW. The test bed was designed incorporating the most advanced testing technologies of Sulzer Pumps.
