The service centre has been expanded by over 50% will the addition of a new workshop building and a new two floor office and meeting centre. The old office space in the existing building has been taken over by additional production facilities. The new workshop building also provides a lifting capacity of up to 25 Tons and doubles the lift height that was previously available. A pit has also been included to allow vertical pumps to be more easily worked on.
The centre provides a range of services for owners of Sulzer and non Sulzer pumps including: • Spare part manufacture and supply • Contract and predictive maintenance • Repairs • Design and material upgrades • Field service support • Re-engineering of existing components • Inspection and analysis • Training
The expansion created an additional 22 jobs on the site and underlines Sulzer Pumps commitment to ongoing investment to serve the needs of their customers.
