Simplicity
The new drill weighs only 25kg and is relatively small, making it easier to handle. It’s simplicity & robust construction makes it more reliable, resulting in reduced maintenance and costs.
Better Health & Safety
In addition to faster drilling rates, the in-stope working environment is significantly improved. Exhaust water cools the air and suppresses dust. There is none of the oil “fogging” that pneumatic drills suffer from.
Two models
The Sulzer New Generation Drill is available in two configurations: Standard, for a pressure range of 14 – 18 Mpa. Low Pressure, for a pressure range of 9 – 13 Mpa.
