SALOMIX® TES

Particularly in big storage tanks or towers, the out-pumping stock quality is difficult to control - especially when the stock is diluted in the lower zone of the tank.
To control the flow in the high density area in the upper part of the tank, the TES is used to spread the stock evenly on the top surface and to create a uniform downflow. The TES with variable rotating speed ensures that an even, fresh layer of stock is spread always topmost regardless of the surface level in the tower.

  • Tower charging arrangement
  • Stock is distributed evenly over the stock surface
  • Prevents channeling
  • Prevents air entrainment into the stock
  • The quality of the out-pumped stock remains uniform

    SALOMIX® GLI (Patented)

GLI is a special designed center fillet located at the storage tower bottom.GLI makes it possible to run high consistency large bottom zone storage and bleaching towers with several agitators trouble free. GLI ensures effective mixing and dilution is intensified with baffles.

  • When inlet stock consistency exceeds 15% the traditional reduced bottom tower can’t generally be operated properly due to the risk of stagnant stock on the tower cone and severe channelling. The tower has to be cylindrical.
  • GLI with dilution baffles is used to make a mixing / dilution zone to the tower bottom to control these difficult process phenomens.
  • GLI separates effectively the storage zone and active mixing and dilution zone of the tower giving thus a powerful tool to ensure even consistency in outpumping and good runnability of the tower.

    SALOMIX® VULCA (Patented)

VULCA is another type of tower bottom center fillet. VULCA is a special designed center pilar located at the storage tower bottom. Pumping trough VULCA saves pumping energy, prevents air entrainment and boosts bottom zone mixing.

  • A specially designed column placed at the bottom of a stock tower, dividing the mixing and storage zones
  • Prevents the mixing of air into the stock
  • Saves pumping energy
