MC^® Pumping Systems with MCE™ Medium Consistency Pumps and other MC^® Equipment

The first commercial fluidizing centrifugal MC^® Pump with degassing started in a chemical pulp bleaching application in 1980. MC^® pumps are used at pulp mills, mechanical pulp lines and paper mills.

Besides MC^® Pumping, there is a number of other process equipment and solutions where the principles of MC^® Technology have been applied. These include

• SX Chemical Mixer is a medium consistency (MC^®) mixer designed for mixing both gaseous and liquid chemicals and steam into the paper stock.
• MC^® Discharger for dividing and controlling stock flow and for discharging towers or reactors. It is possible to remove gas from the process with a Flow Discharger.
• MC^® Discharge Scrapers for discharging high-consistency towers.
