Foundry & Machining - In addition to the main factory we also have our own Foundry and Machining Shop, which supply castings throughout the Sulzer pump division. Key markets include offshore oil & gas production, hydrocarbon processing, water and waste water projects plus general industrial applications. Fully accredited to ISO 9001.2000 by BVQI and TUV ED 97/23/EC (AD-2000/WO), the facility has supplied high quality pumps and compressors to the world market for over 50 years.
Testbed - Sulzer Brasil's testbed is the largest pump test facility in the south hemisphere. With 13800 V electrical supply installed, a sump depth of 11m and a motor capacity up to 5000 kW, this facility is capable to test any centrifugal pump type: vertical, horizontal, single or multistage, single or double suction, within these technical limits.
The total area of 1.550 m2 is divided in five sectors. A test loop for :
- Small pumps (power up to 350 BHP - flow up to 2600 m3/h)
- Multistage pumps (power up to 5000 BHP – flow up to 1500 m3/h)
- Vertical pumps (power up to 6800 BHP – flow up to 25000 m3/h)
- Axially split pumps (power up to 6800 BHP – flow up to 25000 m3/h)
- String test (power up to 6800 BHP – flow up to 2600 m3/h)
In all sectors the tests are carried out through a software named CATS (developed by Sulzer Bruchsal - SPDE) allowing that all test data be electronically acquired via computer and the test reports be generated on line.
Our Service Centers in Jundiaí-SP and Macaé-RJ provide full service including maintenance repair, complete overhauls, upgrades and retrofits to all centrifugal pumps and displacement compressors. In our scope of supply we also provide field engineering, commissioning & start-up and optimized maintenance contracts with spare parts inventory control assuring reliability for customer operation.
